He was predeceased by: his parents, William Russo and Marie Russo; his wife Helen (Homison); his son Kevin Russo; and his sister Roberta "Sis" Trainor (John).
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Russo (Sharon), Sandra Cardinale (David), Renee Rihn (Michael), Linda Walker (Kevin) and Kenneth Russo (Sherri); his grandchildren, Michael Hyde, Adam Hyde (Emily), Kelly Crankshaw (William), Andrea Stiner (Tyler), Jacquelin Walker, William Walker (Talyssa), Vanessa Russo, Morgan Rihn (Joshua Pentin) and Sean Rihn; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Wyatt, Grant, Selah, Bennett and Peyton; and his siblings, Edward Russo (Angela) and Shirley Biondo (Russ). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the William F. Gross Funeral Home (11735 Frankstown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
