It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter J. Tengowski (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sibling Adrian Tengowski; and his parents, Henry Tengowski and Laura Tengowski. He is survived by: his children, Craig Tengowski (Shelagh), Mark Tengowski, Damien Tengowski and Rachel Tengowski (Brook); his grandchildren, Haleigh, Caralyne, Christian, Owen and August; his siblings, Thomas Tengowski, Kenneth Tengowski, Robert Tengowski, Roberta Tengowski, Henry Tengowski and Adrienne Staresinic; and also Bernadette Rogan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
