She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent J. Kovalchick; and her brothers, Robert Adair (Mary Jean) and James. She is survived by: her children, Joe Kovalchick (Denise), Grace Byrnes (Paul) and Jamie Kovalchick (Krista); her grandchildren, Rob (Danielle), Dan (Erin), Julie (Drew), Margaret, Christine, Mason, Emma and Libby; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Archer and Joey; and her siblings, Paul Adair (late Olivia) and Laurie O'Connor (Dennis). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A prayer was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Parish (2710 Ohio St, Bethel Park, PA 15102).
