She is survived by: her sisters, Lauren Garber of Pittsburgh, Adrienne Garber of Pittsburgh and Chelsea Garber of New York; and her husband Donald. She is also survived by her husband and parents.
In lieu of flowers, Vanessa would have requested that any contributions or donations in her honor be made to the Southern New Jersey veteran support group Project Refit at Project Refit.
