With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie A. Gawlas of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her siblings, Andrew J. Gawlas, Jr. (Barbara) and Doreen Gawlas; her niece Pam Ferrari; her great-nephew Robert John; her nephews, Andrew J. Gawlas III and Zachary Gawlas (Rachel); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sammy, Cece, Mindy Gawlas (Deborah Acklin) and Michael Gawlas (Daniel Snyder); and also Joseph Gawlas.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret's of Scotland Roman Catholic Church (310 Mansfield Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15220).
