Thomas Durzo Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Durzo of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 82. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Thomas leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durzo and Anna Durzo; his brother Richard Durzo (Dolly); and his brother-in-law Joseph DiFrancesca. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Durzo; his children, Matthew Durzo (Sara), Michael Durzo (Jaime), Anthony, Gracie, Henry and Sammy; and his sister Dorothy DiFrancesca. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward P. Kanai Funeral Home (500 Greenfield Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15207). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Cathedral Parish—st. Rosalia (108 N Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213).
