He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mahoney and Clair Mahoney of Pittsburgh; and his brother Peter Mahoney (late Mae). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bartosiewicz; his children, Melissa Kortyna (David), Maureen Hill (Chris), Megan Mahoney (Jim Thompson), Maribeth Misitis (John) and Terrence "Bud" Mahoney Jr. (Lauren Poetain); his sisters, Barbara Bozzo (late Frank), Judy Larkin (Bill) and Claire Leheny (late Tom); and his granddaughter Emma Jane Kortyna. He is also survived by his wife and children, he is survived by 14 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 N. Linden St., Duquesne, PA 15110 -OR- the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, 800 Waterfront Dr. Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
