He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Winikoff and Ida Schein Winikoff; and his sister Harriet Winikoff Segal. He is survived by: his wife Miriam Gross Winikoff; his children, Allison Winikoff Ziefert and Cara Winikoff Hirsch (Jeremy); his brother Arnold Winikoff (Barbara Hollander Winikoff); his siblings-in-law, Ellen Gross (Alan Weiskopf) and Benjamin Gross; and his grandchildren, William, Nathaniel, Sylvie Ziefert, Anna and Samuel Hirsch.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ralph Schugar Chapel (5509 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
