In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shirley had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shirley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Freeman-Coles and Clyde Coles; and her husband Herbert Martin Burton. She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Coles-Blair, Ronald Coles (Ronald Coles), Carol Coles-Marin and Lorraine Coles; her daughter Donna Lee Coles; and her grandchildren, Kirstyn Smith-Thomas and Brandon Thomas. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heavenly Vision Ministries (9601 Frankstown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
