He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel P. Alexander and Mary Alexander (Birmingham); his siblings, Charles R. Alexander and Mary Ann Shortuse; and his nieces and nephews, Richard Shortuse and Lynn Cabrera.
He is survived by: his nephew Steve Alexander (Carolyn); and his great-nephews, Nolan, Liam Alexander, Alec Shortuse and Matthew Cabrera.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Slater & Sons Inc. (301 Virginia Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211, USA). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
