She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregorio Ortanez, MD and Loreto Ortanez; and her siblings, Loida C. Ortanez, MD and Gregorio Ortanez, IV. She is survived by: her siblings, Iluminado Ortanez, MD (Corazon Cania Ortanez, MD) and Emily (Efren Quesada); her husband Rogelio E. Vega, MD; her sons, Paul Vega, Alan Vega (John Grimshaw), Richard Vega (Melinda Salvoza) and Ron Vega (Christine Vega); and her grandson Gibson Vega. She is also survived by her husband, sons, family, friends.
