With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Marie Mallik (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her father William P. Gilboy, Sr. (Gertrude); her siblings, William Gilboy (Darlene), James Gilboy (Judy), Penny Affolter and Christine Gilboy; her brother-in-law Robert Boyle; her son-in-law David Malicki; her niece Kelly Boyle; and her great-nephew Danny Gilboy.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Mallik; her children, Richard Mallik (Renee), Amy Mallik and Elizabeth Marston (Charles); her sister Mary Grace Boyle; her siblings-in-law, Ken Affolter and JoAnne Getz; and her grandchildren, Caroline, Stella, Casey, Ava and Richard. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association; Bridges Hospices, or Catholic Charities Diocese of Pittsburgh.
