He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel J. Martell and JoAnn Santoline Martell; and his sister Joan Marie Martell. He is survived by: his brothers, Dean Martell of Pittsburgh and Philip Martell (Trisha) of Elizabeth; his nieces and nephews, Jordan Martell-Hatchett (Bethany), Garrett Martell, Alexandra, Maya Martell and Gabby Tedesco; his great-nieces, Alivia and Vanessa Hatchett; and his aunt Rose "Tootie" Kehoe.
