He is survived by: his nieces, Monica Najeski (Sonny Ringeisen) of Pittsburgh and Julie Roos (James) of Florida; his great-nephew Nicholas Najeski; his great-niece Amanda Martin; his children, Christopher and Adelie Rose Schmidt; and his friends, Mark and Danielle Schmidt.
