Robert Eugene Soltis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Eugene Soltis (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Soltis and Mabel Soltis; his sisters, Jean Carpinelli and Pauline Scherrbaum; and his former wife Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Josie Spalla Soltis; his children, Mary Jo French (Richard) and Robert Soltis Jr. (Dawn); his stepchildren, Michele Iorio (Donnie) and Michael Miele (Fern); his grandchildren, Michael, Nicolas French, Donnie Iorio, Briana Lyda, Mira Miele and Eva Glory; and his brother Steve Soltis (Georgianna).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beinhauer Funeral Home (2630 W Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael the Archangel Parish (310 Mansfield Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15220).
