He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Smith and Jeannette W. Smith; and his brother Paul Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cornelia Smith; his daughter Elisabeth Winn; and his siblings, Gail Murphy (late Peter) and Thomas Smith.
