He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Woods and Frances Woods (Mierwald); and his siblings, Ruth Albanesi (late Tom) and Charles Woods. He is survived by: his wife Mary June Woods (Saunders); his sons, Richard Woods (Melissa) and Brian Woods (Kristy); his grandchildren, Lauria Pensiero (Tyler), Kayli, Richie, Abby Ashley, Brian Woods and Chakayla Hyland (Richard); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Lyric and Lenox; and his brother Gary Woods (Beverly). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. (1503 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15210). A prayer will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church (5200 Greenridge Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15236). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
