Though Richard Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale K. Sweringen and Anna B. Sweringen; his wife Gracemary (Gaye); and his nephew Jeff Hineman. He is survived by: his children, Jill (Barbara), Richard, II and Jon (Megan); his granddaughter Elena (Lena); and his sister-in-law Marge Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church (384 Fox Chapel Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15238).
