He is survived by: his wife Maxine Abrams Horn; his daughters, Deborah Berkovitz (Sam), Anne Weidman (Lawrence) and Judith Horn; his grandchildren, Dr. Rachel Stewart (Shane Eikenberry), Natalie Stewart, Noah Berkovitz (Alura Goodwine) and Eli Berkovitz; his great grandchild Angelo Berkovitz; and his sister-in-law Barbara Gold.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
