He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Linn and Rose Linn (Adrian); his wife Margret Linn (Schwarzkopf); and his brother Joseph Linn (Dorothy). He is survived by: his sons, Regis Linn, Jr. (Ronna) and Oliver Linn (Cania); his grandchildren, Erikka, Kristina and Sean Linn; and his siblings, Michael Linn (late Jayne), Florence Henderson (late William), Rose Seidel and Loraine Gorham (Thomas). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
