The memory of Raphael Veltre (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 19, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Veltre and Carmela Veltre (Grande); and his wife Carol Ann Veltre (Gmiter). He is survived by: his siblings, Madeline Bruckner, Susan Denk and Sam; his children, Melinda Eiben (Ken), Wanda Kent and Joseph (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Tara Jagnow (Eric), Monika Kent, Joey Kent, Vincent, Michael Veltre, Emily Waugh (Mark) and Sarah Eiben; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Jagnow and Violet Waugh.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Doctors Without Borders or the Wounded Warrior Project.
