He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wesling and Anna Wesling; his brother Oscar (Mary); and his significant other Claire (Fiedler). He is survived by: his children, Kathy Smith (Kevin), Janet Hensler (Paul), Ralph H. (Heather) and James G. (Robin); and his grandchildren, Kelly (Adam), Kaitlin (Scott), George (Emily), Jake, James and Nate. He is also survived by five great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A prayer was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Blessed Trinity Parish (3198 Schieck St, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations in Ralph's name may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
