Rajeshwar Kumar Nangia Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rajeshwar Kumar Nangia of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jai Dev Lal Nangia and Parvati Devi Nangia; and his brothers, Ramesh Nangia, Krishan Nangia and Bhimsen Nangia.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Dressel (Markus) of Pennsylvania, Monica St. Jacques of Virginia and Roger Nangia (Pooja) of Pennsylvania; his granddaughters, Elena Dressel, Angelina Dressel and Olivia Dressel; his sister Uma Madan; his former wife Sushma Nangia of New Jersey; and his sisters-in-law, Rekha Nangia, Chander Nangia and Kiran Nangia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dormont Funeral Home (2630 W Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Raj's honor to the Hindu Jain Temple, Monroeville, PA (https://www.hindujaintemple.org) a place that was dear to him.
