She was predeceased by: her parents, Gloria Jean Kitchen and William Ackles; and her siblings, Arlean Brown, Andrew Leon Hooper and William Thomas Hooper.
She is survived by: her friend Cheri Powe; her daughter Latusha Williams Freeman (Troy Freeman) of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandson Phillip Jordan; her great grandchildren, Semia and Heaven; her siblings, Cynthia Haston, Vanessa Anderson, LaNella Hooper-Williams (Martin Williams) and Kenneth Hooper; and her nieces and nephews, Sondra Slaughter, Andrew Hooper, Dominique Hooper, Mario Haston, Summer Haston, Trina Chavis, Terri Jones, Brittany Jones, Kevin Hooper, Gloria Hooper, Ebony Hooper, Bianca Hooper, LaShawnda Hooper and Kenny Hooper Jr.. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
