He is survived by: his wife Katharine "Kitty" Donnan; his children, John and Michelle Smith (Gregory); his grandchildren, Caroline Davis, Richard "Rocco" Emery Davis and Jesseca Leigh Emery; his nieces, Lisa Waag and Carol Waag Swift (Jay); and his nephew Richard Emery Waag (Grace). He is also survived by relatives, friends.
