He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Skupnik and Mary Magdelene Novakovic; and his siblings, Marie and Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Judith Skupnik (Kobet); his daughters, Valerie Ludwig (Daniel) and Jennifer Albert (Michael); his grandchildren, Kaitlin Kogut, Bethany Nevins (Sam) and Ryan Albert; and his sister Jean Rose Skupnik.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Regina Coeli Parish - St. John (2230 Rochester Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at the St. Nicholas Cemetery (2114 Lonsdale St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the VAPHS GPF FUND 527, being directly donated to the Hospice Floor at the Aspinwall VA.
