With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Merlo (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert King and Mary King; her children, James P. Merlo, Jr. (Lisa) and Mary Ann Van Allen (Larry); her grandchildren, Julia Buzzell (Ian), Larry Van Allen, Jr., Joshua Van Allen, Jonathan Merlo and Ashley Berzonsky (Anthony); her great grandchild Greyson Buzzell; and her siblings, Richard King, Barbara Busi (late Lou) and Ginny Lorence (Cal).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc. (3552 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Cyril of Alexandria Church (3854 Brighton Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the North Side Catholic Cemetery (204 Cemetery Ln, Pittsburgh, PA 15237).
