She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Gilbert and Eva Gilbert; her husbands, Shedrack Jones and Lawrence Fowler; her siblings, Homer Gilbert, Marvin Gilbert, Ora Gilbert, Nellie Myers, Percy Gilbert, Freddie Lawrence Gilbert, Matthew Gilbert, Alice Hawk and Bragg Gilbert; her sons, Homer Jones and Gene Jones; and her grandchild Shedrack Barrett.
She is survived by: her sister Mattie Jones; her children, Annie Ruth Barrett, Patricia Jones, Maudleen Cottrell, Jewel Fowler (Elise) and LaSon Duncan; and her grandchildren, Wyetta Lewis, Charles Barrett Jr., Brandi Cottrell, Demond Jones, William Cottrell III, Wesley Barrett, Raven Duncan, April Barrett, Bricen Cottrell, Brentin Cottrell (Ramenta), Mya Davis and Mia Davis. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren as well as, a host of nieces, nephews.
