He was predeceased by: his son Nicholas D. "Nicky" Varrenti; his parents, Nicholas J. Varrenti and Marcella Varrenti (Gabriel); his father-in-law Eugene "Eug" Buccigrossi; his brother-in-law William "Bill" Hernandez; and his niece Bianca Buccigrossi.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Varrenti (Buccigrossi); his children, Megan Varrenti, Gabriel Varrenti and Kaitlin Varrenti (Severen Smith); the mother of his children Darla Varrenti; his sisters, Linda Varrenti Hernandez and Nicole Varrenti Redlinger (Andy); his brother-in-law Dominic Buccigrossi (Nancy); his mother-in-law Donna Buccigrossi (Sam Carlino); his nieces, Lisa Hernandez (Mark McClinchie), Natalie Hernandez, Aimee Hernandez, Dominique Buccigrossi, Desirae Buccigrossi and Emma Redlinger; his grandchildren, Peyton, Dominic, Avery, Salvatore, Logan and Stella; and his godchild Santino DePalma. He is also survived by his many cousins and other family members, as well as countless friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Cathedral (108 N Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213).
