She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Hughes and Virginia Hughes (Conley); her husband William Solomon; and her siblings, Virginia Hughes and Bernie Hughes.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul Solomon (Denise Trexler-Solomon) and Bill Solomon; her grandchildren, Kyle and Alexis; her brother Richard Hughes; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Hughes. She is also survived by in-laws, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Cathedral (108 N Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213).
