She is survived by: her children, Earline Bugay (Michael), Jeremy Ackerman and Jennifer Ackerman; her grandchildren, Michael "MJ" Bugay, Holden Ackerman, Hailynne Ackerman, Justin Harvey A. Cruz, Jeckaterynne A. Loares and Shaira A. Castillo; and her siblings, Reynie S. Hortilano, Alfredo F. Samson, Esperanza T. Manolo and Allan S. Tomayo.
To honor her wishes and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with sending thousands of pounds worth of items in Balikbayan boxes to her home country. Please direct donations to the family for this purpose.
