She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Geyer and Mary Geyer (Smith); her significant other Glenn Waldschmidt; and also Melanie Katusa. She is survived by: her children, Roy Waldschmidt, Sharon Gardoski (Ken), Ami Wessel (Dave) and Eric Waldschmidt (Allison); her grandchildren, Laura, Karis (Jay Lundy), Joel Gardoski (Marina), Zack (Cindy), Jake, Noah Wessel (Remziye), Ian, Ryan (Emma), Evan and Christian Waldschmidt; her great grandchildren, Milo Gardoski and Charlie Wessel; her sister Linda; her siblings-in-law, John Christenson and Joan Waldschmidt; and her grandchildren, Maybelle and Glenn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc. (388 Center Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to Animal Friends.
