With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Trant of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 27, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Rau and Mary Rau; her husband John P. Trant; and her siblings, Paul Rau, Bernice Burke, Oscar Rau and Robert Rau.
She is survived by: her sons, John "Jack" (Teresa), Ronald (JoAnn) and Donald Trant (Tina); and her grandchildren, John Trant, Kelly Franz (Trant), Elizabeth Nease (Trant), Laure Jovanovich (Trant), Kevin Trant, Daniel Trant, Katie Trant, Caitlin Morgan (Trant), Alex Trant, Jeffrey Trant and Sarah Trant. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel St. Vincent DePaul Society.
