She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Benjamin T. "Herk" Gilbert; her children, John (Amy), Mary Beth and Bill (Cathy); her grandchildren, Michelle, Rebecca, Samantha and Johnny; and her great grandchildren, Kae, Michael, Madison and Maveryk. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brusco-Napier Funeral Service, Ltd. (2201 Bensonia Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (1901 Broadway Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). An entombment was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (2900 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317).
