For Margaret is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Smolinski and Stella Smolinski; her grandmother Peanut; and her husband John. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Altieri Jean Parise (Gregory) and Kathy Parise (Mary Maskiewicz); her granddaughter Jennifer Lippello John (Russell); her sisters, Dorthy Smolinski and Linda Karos; and her sisters-in-law, Dolly Smolinski (late Tom) and Mary Politano (John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Church (57 21st St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222).
