He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Melani, Sr. and Fidalma Melani (Guastini); his wife Thelma Melani (Entinger); his son Michael D.; and his brother Harry.
He is survived by: his grandson Matthew Paul Melani; his brother James J. Melani (late Eunice); and his friend Patricia D'Amico. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
