With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lora M. (Maisen) Schmitt (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 74. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Kenneth G. Schmitt; her children, Nikki Schlater (Todd), Mindy Clayton (Neal), Grammie of Trevor, Ella, Emelyn Schlater, Kevin and Ryan Clayton; her parents, Robert Maisen and Helen Maisen; and her brother Robert "Robbie" Maisen (Pam). She was also cherished by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15277). A prayer will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Baldwin Presbyterian Church (201 Knoedler Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
