He was loved and cherished by many people including: his girlfriend Marlene Vietmeier; his daughters, Kelly and Lisa Knerr (Dan); his grandchildren, Keirsten and Danny, Jr.; his uncle Frank Pfoertner; and his siblings, Roy E. Pfoertner and Dorothy A. Smith.
