He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola and Sandy Miles; his wife Ruby Brooks; his son Anthony; and his siblings-in-law, Herman and Beatrice Drawn.
He is survived by: his children, Leroy Miles, Jr., Sherry Miles and Christopher Huffman (Angela); his stepchildren, Armitha Spencer, Johnnie Rains, Thomas Rains and OBryant Owens; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Haley and William Thompson; his niece Mary Drawn; and his nephews, Ronald Wingfield (Doris), Anthony Haley and Edward Brown (Lisa). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
