He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert F. Harms and Margaret M. Harms; his wife Harriet "Jane" Harms; and his son James G. Harms. He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Harms (Carmela), Lauren Harms (Daniel Lee), Samantha Harms, Zach, Cassidy and Bea; his sister Mary Ann "Mimi" Sobieszczyk (late Lenny); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Corbett (Mary Lou), Joyce Schreibeis and John Steele. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
