He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his siblings, Charlene Briceland and Brad Short; his children, Lance Short (Michelle Gurniak), Gretchen Hallaman (George), Lindsey Barthold (Craig) and Logan Short; his siblings-in-law, Gary Kmit (Debbie) and Leslie Kmit; and his grandchildren, Carl Short, Lance Short, Maggie Cooper, Alison Hallaman, George Hallaman, Ryan and Barrett Barthold. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
