He was predeceased by : his grandfathers, John Johnson and Fredrick L Volk. He is survived by : his parents, Craig Johnson (Debbie) and Nancy Volk-Gorny (Robert); his brother Eric Craig Johnson (Kristen); his grandmothers, Loretta and Bonnie; his stepsiblings, Jessica Abbott and Joshua Pittman; and his aunts and uncles, Michelle, Mark, Fredrick, Althea, Clyde, John, Timothy, Thomas, Patrick and Amy. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Light of Life mission.
