With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine R. Wodarek (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Katherine had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her husband James F. Wodarek. She is survived by: her sons, James Wodarek (Rosa) and Joseph Wodarek (Megan); her grandchildren, Jimmy, Alaina, Ava, Joey and Emma; her brother John Minnitte; and her son John Julia (Robyn).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Slater II Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish (110 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15226).
