We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Josephine McElhinny of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David McElhinny; her parents, John Simon and Mary Simon; her son David McElhinny; her grandfathers, Billy Wetzel and Brady Wetzel; and her siblings, Joan Falce (Louis) and Jack Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie McElhinny, Kelly Davis (late David) and Maureen Minard (Fred); her grandchildren, Brianne Wetzel, Brenna Wetzel (Mark), Daniel Wetzel (Lexi), Chelsea Chizewick (Michael), Caitlin Davis (Bailey), Rueben Minard and Kevin Minard; and also Skye Schmidt. She is also survived by animals, especially dogs.
A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Final Resting Place National Cemetery (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jody's memory to an animal rescue organization of choice or the Cornelia Connelly Center for Education http://www.connellycenter.org.
