She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles DiOrio and Elizabeth Merichko DiOrio; her husband Samuel Merenda; and her son Brian Merenda. She is survived by: her children, Gary Merenda (Mary) of Dunnellon, Fla., Jerry Merenda (Cindy) of Hannastown, Samuel Jeffrey "Babe" Merenda of Gay and Denise Grabiak (Chris) of New Alexandria; her grandchildren, Jason Merenda (Brigid), Samuel Aaron Merenda, Elizabeth Merenda, Anthony Merenda (Alisha Fultz), Jessica Kelley (Jason), Jennifer Falo (Dave) and Miranda Grabiak (Jon Ketzlach); her great grandchildren, Sophia, Charlie Merenda, Anna, Michael and Madeline Merenda; and her brothers, Lou DiOrio (Bev) of Hunker and Charles DiOrio of Norvelt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
