He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Hilgert and George Neiport. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Neiport, Jr. (Danelle Coyne), Christopher Neiport (Jesse) and Lauren Neiport (Chris Karolak); his grandchildren, Zayne, Derek, Maleah, Grant, Mason, Bryson, Avery and Brenna; his brother George Neiport, Jr. (Carolyn); his nieces and nephews, Ryan and Jonathan; and his daughter-in-law Kristan Karish. He is also survived by many cousins, and extended family and friends.
