He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. McGuire, Sr. and Dorothy E. McGuire. He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Peterson and Alyce Hill (Thomas); his friend Charles; his wife Gertrude McGuire; his sister Suzanne Doss; his son Eric McGuire, Sr. (Dolores); his grandchildren, Nicole Young (Reginald), Justin Peterson, Danielle Williams, Eric McGuire, Jr., Ethan McGuire and Emmanulle McGuire; his great grandchildren, Reagan Young and Quincy Young; his nieces and nephews, Stacey Harris and Gregory Doss; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric Harris, Jordyn Harris and Harlee Harris. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the House of Law, Inc. (9406 Frankstown Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Home Going Service.
