He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Meinert and Catherine Meinert; and his siblings, Sylvester, Henry, Bernard, Dorothy Kessler and Mary Danyluk.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Ford (Ford) of Etna; his sister Joan Sorby (Thomas); and his children, John, Kenneth (Alison), Michael (Jayne), Patrick, Denis (Frances), Susan Amore, Timothy (Mark), Nancy Whistler (Keith), Thomas (Christina) and Lynne Franks-Meinert (Dawn). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
