She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Drolet and Dorothy Drolet; and her husband Joseph H. Canyock. She is survived by: her friends, Ellen and Tom Gill.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home (460 Lincoln Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202). A prayer was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption (45 N Sprague Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery (204 Cemetery Ln, Pittsburgh, PA 15237).

If desired, in lieu of flowers, a mass may be offered or a charitable donation given in Jean's name to Regina Coeli Parish, Church of the Assumption, 45 N. Sprague Ave., Bellevue, PA 15202, or to a charity of one's choice.
