He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer K. Brandt, Jr. and Sarah P. Grace Brandt. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Lu Boory; his children, Jeffrey M. Brandt (Jeanette) of Manassas, VA, Kimberly A. Winnowski of Pittsburgh, Holly L. Brandt of North Strabane and Amy P. Comini (Marty) of McMurray; his grandchildren, Anthony, Matthew Brandt, Benjamin (Christy), Daniel Winnowski (Shanyn), Kyle and Paige Comini; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah, Isaac and Addie Winnowski; his pet Daisy; and his brother Thomas D. Brandt.
